Why use ICTs in the classroom?

Reason 2: ICTs will develop and benefit students learning by providing multiple gateways to improve their knowledge.

Students within the class predominantly struggle with areas of literacy and numeracy. Students often fall behind in these subjects therefore leading to class disruption or worse, violence. ICTs provide aesthetically pleasing resources, multiple levels of learning, and instant feedback, therefore benefiting students learning by developing their knowledge further.

The Australian Curriculum (2015) states that "ICTs transform the way students think, learn and do, as well as give them greater control over how and where they learn".
